1. The owner of this blog has sole and final authority regarding the deletion of posts and comments, so don’t bother arguing with me if I delete a comment of yours. It won’t bring it back.

2. By all means disagree with anything I write, or anything anyone else writes. But please be nice. There are actual people with actual feelings behind the words and pictures.

3. I don’t mind foul-mouths. You will find in the archives that I’m not afraid of the f-word, c-word, g-word, etc. I’m not generally friendly, however, to sexist, heterosexist or racist remarks. And I particularly like deleting them.

4. I am a researcher, and this blog is a research blog. One can assume therefore, that any comments made on this blog will be read by someone actively engaged in blog research. This someone might really, really like to use what you’ve written as part of his research. I will not use anything you’ve written on this blog for my research (both my PhD thesis and articles I write along the way) without your permission. So I will email you and ask first.

5. I like people who comment. People who comment are the salt of the earth. People who comment are more likely to get free stop-overs in Victoria.
