Just had a meeting with my second supervisor who had looked over the conference paper I recently introduced to this site, the one that I hated and thought was crap. He offered me some fantastic criticisms. he was so helpful that I think, given time and more sleep, I can turn it into a great paper, even kick off the thesis well with it. So please don’t look at it now. In a little while I’ll replace it with something much better.

But can’t do that now. I’m off to a Porticus meeting where we’ll be looking at media, religion and globalisation in Africa. The meeting goes for a few days and I’ll be away from my own computer. Hopefully I’ll be able to get online from time to time so I can tell all y’all all about it, and send some cool pics. (Did I mention the meeting’s held in Nairobi?)
